
This guidance applies to students, faculty and staff
- Masks will be optional at all times and in all locations both indoors and outdoors. This includes on school buses.
- All MCSD schools have been equipped with bipolar ionization equipment installed in HVAC systems to clean the air.
- Buildings and classrooms will be sanitized as needed and practicable by custodial staff.
- Hand sanitizer with 60% or greater alcohol content will be provided to schools as needed.
- Anyone who is feeling sick, especially with a fever of 100 degrees or more should stay home until they are free of symptoms for at least 24 hours.
- Anyone who reports to a school that they have been diagnosed with COVID needs to isolate until symptom free for 24 hours. Parents are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines on COVID isolation for their students.
- If the school is made aware that someone tested positive as a part of a classroom, team, or group, then the school will communicate this to the other members of the classroom, team, or group.
