It's GREAT to be a GMS Maverick!  I am so happy to be here at Germantown Middle School!  We are going to have an AWESOME year! My hope and goal this year is to help you and your student navigate through the new opportunities and choices provided in middle school!

A little about me....I graduated from Madison Central High School in 2000.  After graduation, I went to the University of Southern Mississippi, where I received a Leadership Scholarship, pledged Kappa Delta, and was a Dixie Darling.  In 2003, I transferred to Mississippi College, where I completed my bachelors degree in Social Studies Education and masters degree in School Counseling.

I have been in education since 2005.  I previously worked at Velma Jackson High School as a social studies teacher for three years and in 2008 was hired as the Counselor at Velma Jackson High School.  So, while I have been accustomed to high school students, I am so excited to work with middle school students.  I love GMS and have served as counselor to kids with the last names A-L since 2012.

I have been married to Danny Bouchillon since 2007.  We met at Mississippi College and worked at Velma Jackson together for seven years and at Germantown Middle School together for 2 years!  Danny Bouchillon is the Assistant Principal at Madison Avenue Lower and Upper Elementary. So, education is the talk around the dinner table most nights! Danny and I have a little boy, Brady, who was born in 2009.  He is a little man, who loves fishing, sports, and right now Pokemon and Legos!  We also have two toy poodles, Katie and Rosco, that keep all three of us busy!

Please call or email if I can help you in any way!
