  • Solar Eclipse

    On Monday, August 21, 2017, Mississippi will enjoy a partial view of the solar eclipse beginning at 11:54 a.m. and ending at 1:45 p.m. This is the first total solar eclipse visible in the United States since 1979, and it must be viewed with proper eye protection (glasses with ISO 12312-2 protection level) to avoid any temporary or permanent eye damage. Regular or prescription sun glasses will not offer sufficient protection.     Parents now have the option to complete and submit our free and reduced meal application electronically through the internet.

    Reporting Lost or Stolen Laptop
     
    Students will be allowed to take their device home including the holidays.  Please be aware that we will not be providing technical assistance during this time.  If your laptop is lost or stolen, you will need to contact the police immediately and fill out the Theft Form to report it to school administration.  Parent/guardian will be responsible for full replacement cost of laptop if not reported to MCS personnel within calendar 3 days of missing the device.
