The purpose of my site is to inform you of what is going on in our math class. I will post details concerning tests and homework assignments. I will also include upcoming events and projects. You can access this information by following the "homework blog" link to the left.

 

 

About the Teacher

Education

I graduated high school in Little Rock, Arkansas and received an Elementary Education degree at Belhaven College, where I focused primarily on math courses. Even as a child, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I had my own grade book and the smartest stuffed animals around!

 

Experience

This is my 16th year of teaching and my 9th year at MMS. I have also spent numerous years tutoring math at a variety of levels.

 

Family

I am married to a wonderful husband and we have two sons, Riley (4 yrs) and Ryder (2 yrs). Our other child is Jake, who is a black lab.

 

Interests

My husband talked me in to playing golf a few years ago and I got hooked. We really enjoy our golf dates and try to play as often as we can.

We are also avid pool players. We have traveled to many exciting places to compete in national tournaments.
