Welcome To Mrs. Maze's Theatre /choir classes.
Mrs. Kathy Maze email@example.com
I have enjoyed investing in the education of students in Madison County classrooms for the past 23 years. 19 years ago I became a Highly Qualified Middle School Language Arts teacher as I began teaching 6th grade Reading at MMS. I Graduated from Mississippi College. Since I have been teaching at MMS, I returned to Mississippi College where I earned my Master's in Education. I also completed the National Boards process and am now a National Board Certified Teacher. My husband, Gary Maze is on staff at French Camp Academy, and is consulting, ministry coaching, & speaking. We have been married for 38 years. My son Josh has been married to Stacie Stokley for 9 years. They live in Memphis where he is the worship leader at Highpoint Church. My daughter Karleigh graduated from Mississippi College and got married 5 years ago. She is beautiful inside & out! She married her high school sweet heart, Daniel Wagner. They live in Jackson, MS where Daniel is the college and singles pastor at Fondren Church and Karleigh is the Director of Development and Communications for Sunnybrook Children's home. They had our 1st grandchild on Juy 26, 2019. Her name is Stella.
About Me: I love music. I love to sing on the praise team at church and I enjoy listening to music, spending time with my family and traveling during the summer. I lost my father to a massive heart attack the week before school started 9 years ago and my mom is suffering from dementia, so spending time with my family and friends is a high priority.
I began teaching Theatre 8 years ago. This year I am teaching Theatre for grades 6-8. I also am one of the choir sponsors for one of the girl's choirs and the showchoir, Kaleidoscope. I am one of the assistant directors for the after school musicals we present. I am looking forward to a great year!
