Dr. Tangia Miller

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! My name is Tangia Miller, and I will be teaching Algebra II and Calculus this year. This will be my fifteenth year at Madison Central and my 26th year of teaching. I received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Jackson State University, a second bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Mississippi State University, and a Masters's in Mathematics Education from Mississippi State University. Also, I received my Doctor of Education degree in Educational leadership and administration from Walden University. My husband James and I together have eight children (4 boys and 4 girls). Our children are grown and we have 21 grandchildren and are expecting another grandchild in the spring.

This year I will be teaching Algebra II and Calculus. I am also a Mu Alpha Theta (mathematics honor society) sponsor. You may contact me by email and expect an immediate response within 1 to 2 days. I encourage all parents to sign up to be an observer of your son's/daughter's Canvas course so you may stay informed about what is being covered in class and when assignments are due and when quizzes/tests are scheduled.
