Hello!  I am so excited about this school year!  I love teaching Mentoring and PSAT.  Most importantly, I look forward to teaching YOUR child!  This is my 25th year of teaching-- but not consecutively.  I worked at MC from 1994-2001, took a break for six years to take care of my two children Mary Ranie (24) and Chandler (22), and returned to MC in 2007.   So-- I have always been a Jaguar! :-)  Also, I have been married to my husband Jody for 32 years.  We both attended Mississippi State University for undergraduate and graduate work. I have a bachelor's degree in English, as well as a master's degree in English.  In addition, I am a board-certified teacher. Lastly, I have been named MCHS Teacher of the Year (2017-2018) and STAR Teacher (2018, 2020).
 
Again, I anticipate a wonderful year!
