• At the beach!

My name is Lt Col John Aaron Sullivan, USAF (Ret) and I currently serve as the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor for our AFJROTC Program.  I am incredibly excited that you have chosen to be a part of MS-933.  Our mission is to build citizens of character.

I am a native of both Madison and Rankin counties.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Seattle Pacific University in 1998 while on an AFROTC Scholarship at the University of Washington. I then received my Master of Science degree from the military’s Air Command and Staff College in 2010.

After traveling the world while serving in the USAF, I retired in 2018 and returned to Mississippi.  My family and I are glad to be back home and part of the MCHS family.

This will be my third year teaching at Madison Central and I look forward to working with our cadets.  They will learn and participate in Aerospace Science, Leadership skills, and wellness.  We also have several extracurricular activities planned for this year, which include color guard, spirit flag, marksmanship, and physical training.  Feel free to reach me with any questions at joh100@madison-schools.com
