    Hello CES FALCONS!! 

    My name is Veronica Smith, and I am your School Counselor for the 2024-2025 school year. This is my 1st year at CES and my 17th year in education.  I completed my undergraduate studies at Grambling State University where I received a degree in Business Management with a minor in Business Education and my Masters in School Counseling from Alcorn State University. I come from a line of educators, so it’s truly my calling.

    I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and your child to make sure they are successful academically, socially, and emotionally. Throughout the year, I will be providing classroom guidance, individual and small groups.  I strive daily to meet their needs and encourage all my students. 

    Referrals can be made by teachers or parents. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I would rather over-communicate than under-communicate! I will be more than happy to assist you in any way I can.
