Hello!
I am excited to introduce myself as your child’s new Pathways teacher! My name is Kavitha Gandham and I was born and educated in India. I moved to the United States in 2006 and have 21 years of experience teaching both special education and gifted students. I earned my master’s degree in accounting and commerce and have recently completed my specialist program in Psychometry from Jackson State Univeristy. I have taught in South Carolina and Louisiana before moving to Mississippi. Working with students has been my passion since a young age.
I live in Canton, with my husband and two sons. One is Freshman at Germantown High School and my youngest son is in the fifth grade at Madison Crossing.
Now, after living in the USA for over 15 years, I am thrilled to continue following my passion teaching in the Madison School County School District. I believe in creating engaging, challenging activities for gifted learners that allow them to go deeper into topics through strategies like differentiation, compacting, extension activities, and independent studies. My goal is to nurture your child’s talents in a supportive environment.
Building strong relationships with families is very important to me. I hope we can work together this year to help your child thrive. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. I am looking forward to a great year!
