• Hi! My name is Lela Hester.  I am excited to serve as the K-2 Literacy Specialist for Madison Crossing!  This is my 31st year in education and my 27th year with Madison County.  I received my BS and Master's Degrees from Mississippi State University.  I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.  My husband, Robert, and I have two wonderful children.  Carter graduated from Germantown in 2024 and will be attending Holmes Community College this fall.  Mary Ella will be a 10th grader at Germantown High this year and is a member of the Encore' Elite Dance Team.  We love going to Germantown and Mississippi State sporting events!
