Welcome students and parents! This is my 15th year in education. I began my career teaching middle school English Language Arts. I later served as a Literacy Specialist in our district for six years - four of which were right here at Germantown High School. This is my third year back at GHS. In addition to teaching African American Studies and Creative Writing this year, I will also serve as GHS's Testing Coordinator.

I am a graduate of Mississippi State University (2004), Mississippi College (2011), and William Carey University (2019). Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. I am the proud mom of three busy Mavericks: Aubrey III, Alton, and Ava.
