Welcome students and parents! This is my 13th year in education. I began my career teaching middle school English Language Arts. Most recently, I served as a Literacy Specialist in Madison County Schools for six years - four of which were right here at Germantown High School. This year, I am teaching ACT Prep and African American Studies. I am thrilled to be back in the classroom and to be back home at GHS!
I am a graduate of Mississippi State University (2004), Mississippi College (2011), and William Carey University (2019). Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I are the proud parents of three busy Mavericks: Aubrey III, Alton, and Ava. We spend most of our time outside of school at practice, lessons, and games. Go Mavs!!
I am looking forward to another great school year! I am here to support students and help prepare them for success after high school. All assignments and class information is located on Canvas. Parents are encouraged to make an observer account on Canvas. Instructions can be found here.
If you have any questions throughout the year, please do not hesitate to reach out to me!
