    Welcome to our classroom! We have so much fun planned for this school year! I have been teaching for twelve years now. I received the Teacher of the Year award for Madison County Preschool, and the Teacher of the Year for Lower Elementary during the 2021-2022 school year. I am excited to be teaching at Madison Avenue Upper Elementary! Madison Avenue Lower and Upper were the same schools I attended as a child. My 5th grade class was the first 5th grade class to "graduate" from MAUE. As such, this school holds a special place in my heart, and it is my hope that I may impart that love of learning and sense of community to your child.
