Welcome to 8th grade! I am excited about having you in my Science class this year.

A little about myself:

I am originally from Starkville, MS, however, I spent most of my childhood in West Monroe, Louisiana. I graduated high school from West Monroe High in 2001.  I then attended college at Mississippi State University.  My husband, Michael, and I were married in 2008.  We have four children; Addie (14), twins Finley and Vivie Claire (13), and John Thomas (7).  We love Mississippi State athletics and spending time on our family farm in Starkville.  

This will be my third year at Madison Middle and my 19th year teaching.  I have taught a wide range of grades and subjects; 1st grade (JPS), 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at MAUE, 7th and 8th gifted at Madison Middle/Germantown Middle and now 8th grade Science.  I LOVE teaching Science to 8th graders.
