    Hello, my name is Whitney Thomas. I am entering my 13th year as a special education teacher. I received my undergraduate degree from Jackson State University and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from MS College. I am certified to teach Special Education, Social Studies, and English. I enjoy working with all students, encouraging them to continuously make both academic and behavioral progress. I have one child and her name is Kaidence. I'm looking forward to having another great school year at MAUE.
