• Welcome to the Engineering Academy at Ridgeland High School! 

    Mr. Broome

    My name is Michael Broome and I teach all 4 courses in the Academy as well as one Computer Science and Engineering course (formerly known as STEM). This is my first year at RHS and my second year in Education. I hold a degree in Marketing from Mississippi College and have previously worked at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Regions Bank in Madison, and Madison Middle School. In my free time, I enjoy taking road trips, grilling on my back porch, watching sports (Mississippi State, Manchester City, and the New York Yankees are my teams), and coin collecting. I look forward to helping my students prepare for their future careers in the fields of Engineering and Technology!
