Welcome:
Go Tiny Titans! I am SO excited to continue to serve as Assistant Principal at Ann Smith Elementary where Positive Energy Leads to Positive Results! I have many roles as Assistant Principal, but I especially enjoy supporting teachers, collaborating with others, and impacting student learning. I know from twenty-three years of experience that students can and will learn, just at different rates.
About Mrs. Ellis:
I love what I do and enjoy helping others! I have been an educator since 2000, when I graduated from Delta State University. I have taught both elementary and middle school. I am a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), and I also served as National Board Coordinator for Madison County Schools for four years. I earned a Master of Education from The University of Mississippi and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College.
In 2009, I married my best friend and wonderful husband, Robert, and moved to Madison County. I served as District Literacy Specialist for eight years at Madison Station Elementary, Shirley Simmons Middle School, and East Flora Elementary, and now, I am happy to be back with the Tiny Titans!
