Welcome to the 24-25 School Year!

My name is Mrs. Olivia Porter, and I am so excited to be your 7th Grade Math Teacher.  This will be my eighth year teaching, yet my first year at Shirley Simmons Middle School.  If you ever need additional assistance, email me at oli100@madison-schools.com or schedule a time during my planning block (4th and 8th Block).

Here's some important information:

Canvas

Canvas is the District's web-based learning management system.  It is used to access and manage online course learning materials and communicate.  All class content will be uploaded to Canvas.  Parents, click the link to become a Canvas Class Observer to view your child's lessons and grades.

Remind

Remind is the District's approved mobile messaging platform to communicate with students and parents.  Text @4bf7cc to 81010 or to (757) 337 - 4602.
