Welcome to World History!

My name is Michael Satcher and this is my 3rd year at Rosa Scott. This is my 18th year in education. I spent 13 years teaching at Horn Lake High School prior to moving to Madison. My wife, April Satcher, is at Rosa Scott and teaching Art. She has been teaching for 16 years.

I love education and I love getting the opportunity to open students' minds to the historical events that have shaped who we have become as people. The journey through World History is sometimes hard to process, but together, through discussion of the "tough content", we can get through it.

I am excited about this year and getting to meet all of my students.
