Hi parents and students,

     My name is Mrs. Tubbs-Luckett, and I have the pleasure of teaching 7th grade ELA at Shirley D. Simmons Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. I am looking forward to working with you and your parents this year. I am a native of Mississippi, and I have taught in Mississippi and Tennessee for a total of 19 years. I graduated from Jackson State University with a B.A. in English Education and Mississippi College with an M.Ed. in English. I love to travel, read and binge watch television.
