My name is Jamie Taylor.  I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta in the small town of Belzoni.  I attended college at Mississippi Delta Commmunity College and Mississippi State University where I majored in Secondary Education.  I received my Master's of Education at the University of West Alabama in School Counseling.  I have taught special education for 14 years and look forward to continuing my career at the Academic Options Center.  When I am not teaching, I am kept busy by my two boys, Nash and Ridge.
