• Hello East Flora Elementary family and friends! My name is Emily Kreuger and I am so excited about being your child's art teacher! This is my second year at EFE and I am looking forward to what this year holds! 

    I was raised in Madison and graduated high school from Madison Ridgeland Academy. I received my Bachelor of Science in History from Mississippi College in 2015 and received my Masters of Education from Mississippi College in 2022.

    I live in Madison, MS, with my husband Devon Kreuger and our six animals - Sophia, Sella, Smeagol, Bell, Trixie, and Scout! I enjoy reading, hanging out with my husband and family, watching TV/movies, playing video games, listening to music, and creating art! 

    My teaching belief is that art and arts integration is important to our students' overall wellbeing - including learning, social, and emotional needs! Anybody can make and create art! There is no such thing as "I can't" or "I'm not good enough"! 

    I look forward to the 2022-2023 school year and getting to meet all of our students!
