•      Welcome!! This is my fourth year here at Germantown High School and my twenty-first year teaching. This year, I will be teaching Physics and Career Academy Chemistry. It is my hope that all of my students leave my class prepared for college with a thirst for scientific knowledge and as a scientifically literate member of society. I am also the faculty adviser for the GHS National Honor Society.

I graduated from University of Louisiana at Monroe (Northeast Louisiana University) with a B.S. in Toxicology with a minor in Chemistry and from Southeastern Louisiana University with an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, plus over 30 hours towards my doctorate in Educational Leadership.

    Mission Statement

“Learning science is something students do, not something that is done to them. In learning science, students describe objects and events, ask questions, acquire knowledge, construct explanations of natural phenomena, test those explanations in many different ways and communicate their ideas to others.” – National Research Council, National Science Education Standards

I'm excited to be a part of Madison County Schools and a Maverick!!!!!
