Mission Statement: To motivate students to become independent, responsible decision-makers by teaching appropriate responses through social skills training, self-management, and wrap-around support while encouraging students to achieve high academic success.
ASE Titans School Counselor's Role:
- Character Education Classes
- Small-Group Counseling
- Individual Counseling
- Tier 1 Support
- Tier 2 and 3 Interventions
- PBIS
- Community Collaboration
Counselors may meet with students about:
- Behavior Issues
- Anxiety
- Self-Esteem
- Divorce
- Grief/Loss
- Making & Keeping Friends
- Social Skills
- Self-Management
- Attendance
- Helping with Transitions
Counselor consults with Staff and other Professionals to:
- Help identify and assist students with academic/behavior difficulties
- Assist administration in coordinating activities
- Make referrals to community agencies when necessary
Teachers choose two SUPER TITANS to represent their class each month for the character education trait of the month. Below you will see the traits we focus on for each month.
