I am so happy and excited to join the Pathways team at MSE. Its's going to be a wonderful, unusual year and I can hardly wait to meet my students and get started!

     This is my 9th year teaching gifted.

     I have been teaching in Madison County Schools for 17 years.    

    Degrees:

    Bachelor of Elementary Education 1982 (K-8)  

     from Mississippi College    

    Master's in Elementary Education: 2013 (K-6)

     from Mississippi College

    National Board Certified : 2008

    Endorsement: 207 gifted K-12

     

    On a Personal Note:

    I have one son, Brian, who is married to Sara. They have given me two lovely grandchildren, Addie (age 7) and Garner (age 4).

    I have one daughter, Tara, who is a resident of Son Valley, a Christian

    community center for adults with developmental delays, located in Ridgeland. 

    I am also a surrogate grandmother to 4 little cuties, London, Hayden, Braiden and Lily. I am very much family oriented and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren.

     

    I kept busy during quarantine by taking long walks, reading, kayaking and 

    tending to a few projects around the house. I also worked as summer camp director at the Children’s Museum. It was so much fun!
