• Welcome! My name is Kristy Gandy. I am a resource and inclusion teacher at Madison Avenue Upper Elementary. I have been teaching for 13 years. I have taught in the general education setting, hospital setting, and special education. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education from Mississippi College, and my master's degree is in Early Childhood Education from Ole Miss. I am currently working on a second master’s degree in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College through Madison County Schools. My family is my pride and joy - I have a wonderful husband, Matt, and we are blessed with two incredible children, Evie and John Auden. Evie is in 6th grade at Madison Middle School, and John Auden is in 4th grade at MAUE. In addition to teaching at MAUE, I also serve on the executive board for the PTO. I am blessed to be a part of the Avenue family! Go Jags!
