Welcome to 1st Grade! We are so glad that you are here! This is going to be an awesome year!

I am beginning my 5th year as a teacher at Luther Branson, and I am thrilled to be a part of the family here! I have been working in education for 23 years. I graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. There I received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education and later received a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. In my career, I have worked in various positions at the school, district, and state level. Five years ago, I returned to the classroom, which was my first love! I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta. My husband and I moved with our three children to Brandon in 2015. 

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, working in my yard, watching my kids play soccer and baseball and perform in show choir. I am so excited to be here, and I am looking forward to meeting you!
