Free Lunch and Breakfast for Children
Grab and go meals, including lunch and breakfast, are available free of charge to all children 18 and under during the school closure. Lunch service began on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at three MCS locations, and on Friday, March 20, 2020, grab and go sack meals will include both breakfast and lunch. Madison County Schools is providing meals via curbside and walk-up service at East Flora Elementary, Camden Elementary, Ann Smith Elementary, and now also Madison Crossing Elementary, on weekdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The breakfast meals are designed to be saved for the following morning if picked up at lunchtime. Meals are available for free to all children regardless of where they go to school, but they do need to be present to receive a meal. Adults may purchase grab and go meals for $6; this price includes two meals, both breakfast and lunch. As circumstances change, this plan is subject to change as well.
Olde Towne Middle School will advance the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of all students and their individual needs within an environment that promotes exemplary education for all students with an emphasis on rigorous standards and accountability.
