My name is Jenny Miller. I am a first grade teacher at Madison Avenue. I am entering my 22nd year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten for 11 years, and I have also taught first grade for 10 years. I am from Brandon, Mississippi, and I am a graduate of Mississippi College.
My husband, John, and I have three children. John Gordon is in 7th grade at MMS. Lillie is in 5th at MAUE, and Frances is in 2nd at MAE. We are active members of St. Matthew's Methodist in Madison. My family and I enjoy cooking/grilling, reading, vacationing, cheering for Mississippi State, and cheering for the Atlanta Braves. We spend a lot of weeknights and weekends on the soccer fields.
Our assistant teacher this year is Ms. Dashiah Ellis. Ms. Ellis is beginning her 3rd year at MAE. She is a graduate of Germantown High School and a graduate of Ole Miss. She graduated in Science and Nutrition. She is working on her graduate degree at Jackson State University. She enjoys watching movies and cooking. She already loves these little ones, and they love her! We are very excited about our 2nd year of working together.
