I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1999 and attended UCLA on the Blue and Gold academic scholarship. I graduated from UCLA in 2003 with a Bachelor's in Economics. I married my husband, Barrett, in 2005. We lived at Camp Pendleton(Oceanside, Ca) for a year, Roanoke, Va for four years, Camp Lejune, North Carolina for three years and finally settled in Mississippi in 2014. We have four kids. Brian (24), Sevana (17), Ethan (15) and Anabelle (13).
I began my teaching career in 2017 at Murrah High School. I taught Health and Physical Education at Murrah for two years before coming to Germantown. This is my sixth year at GHS. I am very excited about the new opportunities this year will bring for learning and growth in all of my students. Here is to a year of fun, learning and memories.
