Welcome to the Academy of Healthcare Excellence!

I am Jamie Hoerman and I will be teaching Health Science Core 1 and Health Science Clinical Services 1 this year.  This is my fifth year teaching at Germantown High School, fourth year as an assistant volleyball coach, and second year as an assistant track coach.

A little about my background.  I graduated from University of Kansas with my BSN and I am a registered nurse.  I have spent the last fifteen out of nineteen years working as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room.  My family and I moved here from St. Louis, MO 5 years ago and we have been blessed by so many people since.  My husband and I have been married for 18 years.  Our children are excited to call GHS and GMS their home.  Miriam is a Junior, Samuel is a Freshman, and Aaron is a sixth grader!  We have two furry friends, Murphy and Newman!

My passion is people and I love being a nurse!  I am very excited to hear what your plans, thoughts, and ideas are for the future of healthcare.  We are going to have a fun year!  It is going to be such a blessing to get to work with the students this year.
