I want to give each of you a warm welcome as you visit my site. My name is Coach Cliburn and this will be my first year teaching at Madison Central High. I am extremely excited to teach here and even more excited to have your child. I will be teaching Special Education and the name is fitting because each student is special and has different gifts and abilities he or she can contribute to the classroom. If you ever have any questions or concerns the quickest way to reach me is through my email lcliburn@madison-schools.com. If you have a question at anytime don’t hesitate to ask because I will respond at any time of day. Once again I look forward to this school year which will be fun filled and full of energy and your student will leave not only a smarter person but my goal is to always help students reach their full potential and to become a better human being in general.

I just want to give a little background information about myself. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Secondary Education and have minors in Psychology, Sociology, and History. This is my second year teaching as well as my second year teaching Special Education. I taught for Desoto County Schools last year but when I was offered the position at Madison Central I immediately accepted it because I believe Madison Central has not only the best students but the best faculty and staff. I have one child who has four legs and his name is Kiaser and he is a Siberian Husky. In my spare time I am usually in the gym because I diet and train all year long and then compete in shows during the summer. I am also involved with the church I attend and will be an FCA Sponsor as well. I believe in treating all people with respect and simply being a servant to everyone. If you have anymore questions about me feel free to ask. I promise I am not intimidating and hope to keep in regular contact with you!

    God Bless!
