I want to give each of you a warm welcome as you visit my site. My name is Coach Cliburn and this will be my third year teaching at Madison Central High. I am extremely excited to teach here and even more excited to have your child. I will be teaching Special Education and the name is fitting because each student is special and has different gifts and abilities he or she can contribute inside as well as outside of the classroom. If you ever have any questions or concerns the quickest way to reach me is through my email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a question at anytime don’t hesitate to ask because I will respond at any time of day. Once again I look forward to this school year which will be fun filled and full of energy and your student will leave not only a smarter person but my goal is to always help students reach their full potential and to become a better human being in general.
I just want to give a little background information about myself. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Secondary Education and have minors in Psychology, Sociology, and History. This is my fourth year teaching as well as my fourth year teaching Special Education. I started teaching for Desoto County Schools four years but when I was offered the position at Madison Central I immediately accepted it because I believe Madison Central has not only the best students but the best faculty and staff. I have two children who have four legs and their names are Barkley and Brandy and they are Boston Terriers. In my spare time I am usually in the gym because I diet and train all year long and then compete in shows during the summer. I am also involved with the church I attend and will be an FCA Sponsor as well. I believe in treating all people with respect and simply being a servant to everyone. If you have anymore questions about me feel free to ask. I promise I am not intimidating and will keep in regular contact with you!
