About Mrs. Lyles

Hi! My name is Katie Lyles and this is my fourth year as the K-2 resource and inclusion teacher! I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. I have a bachelor's degree in both elementary education K-6 and special education K-12. I was born in Madison and still reside here with my husband and 2 year old daughter.

I can't wait to get to know your student, but first here are some things they may want to know about me:

My favorite food is pasta and my favorite dessert is chocolate ice cream.

My favorite color is blue, but pink is a close second.

I LOVE dragons and my favorite movie is Pete's Dragon (I cry like a baby every time). I also have a collection of dragon figurines!

My favorite candy is sour patch watermelons and my favorite snack food is hot cheetos.

My favorite drink besides water is Coke.

I have always dreamed of coming back to teach in the Madison area, so I am SO excited to begin my teaching career at Madison Crossing!! I have such high expectations for this year and know that we are going to have a very successful school year.
