Welcome to 2nd Grade!            Welcome back to the Jazzy Jackson class page! My name is Octavia Jackson and I am an 8-year educator. I was born and raised in Jackson, MS to a mother and father along with three brothers and two sisters, all of Jackson, MS. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Victor Jackson for 8 years. We have one daughter, Kylea' and one puppy, Hunter. I enjoy preparing my 2nd graders to become in the mindset of a 3rd grader, pushing deeper into our College and Career Readiness Standards and in their thinking in an engaging way. Our class is FULL of learning through hands-on, fun, and thought-provoking activities. I look forward to having the best year yet with my students!!
