    Welcome Message From The Principal

    Mr. Cofield serves as the lead principal with 30 years of experience in education, with 18 of those in administration. Most recently he has served as an assistant principal at Madison Middle School and principal at the Academic Options Center of Madison County Schools. This will be his fourth year at Rosa Scott.

    “I am honored and privileged to be the principal of Rosa Scott,” said Mr. Cofield, “Rosa Scott has been committed to excellence for a long time, and I'm glad to be a part of this team.”

    Rosa Scott School is the ninth-grade center of the Jaguar Zone of Madison County Schools, serving 450 students this year.  Mr. Cofield earned his Masters Degree in Kinesiology from Southern Arkansas University and a Masters in Ed. Leadership from Mississippi College.

    He and his wife Stacy have three children,  who are all graduates of the Jaguar Zone of Madison County Schools. Morgan is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, Josh is attending the University of Mississippi, and Ryan is a freshman at Holmes Community College. Go Jags!
