Welcome to Coach Brady's class!
My name is Bruce Brady and this will be my third year at Germantown High School. During the 2020-2021 school year, I will be teaching MS Studies first semester and U.S. Government second semester. In addition to teaching, I will be coaching football in the fall and track in the spring. I'm also currently pursuing my Master's degree in educational leadership through William Carey University.
I have been teaching/coaching for 12 years with previous experience at Loyd Star High School in Brookhaven and Lawrence County High School in Monticello. My wife, Melinda, is also a teacher here at GHS with the Health Care Academy. We have one daughter in the third grade.
School is going to look a little different this year. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will have to change things up a little bit, but I am confident that we will still have fun and learn alot, all while staying safe. Below are a couple of things to keep in mind as you enter class each day:
- Wear your mask
- Remain as socially distanced as possible
- Wash your hands regularly
- Bring your charged MacBook with you every day
- All class texts, assignments, and tests in my class will utilize Canvas this school year

We are going to have a great year! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email: bbrady@madison-schools.com
