This will be my third year teaching at Germantown and my tenth year teaching overall. 

I grew up in DeSoto County, MS and graduated from DeSoto Central High School in 2006. From there, I went to Delta State University where I received my Bachelor's in English Education. My husband, Jason, and I met at DSU, and we were married in April 2011. I taught English I at Cleveland High School while my husband finished his degree. Then, in the summer of 2012, we both took jobs with The International School of Kabul in Kabul, Afghanistan; living in another country was eye opening, challenging, and wonderful. However, in January of 2015 we moved back to the states and back to DeSoto County for three years before moving to the Jackson area and joining the Maverick family. 

I am so excited about this year, and I cannot wait to get started!
