Welcome to ESL for the 2024-2025 school year. I am excited about this school year. This is my 8th year at Old Town Middle School and my 9th year in Madison County Schools. I have over 15 years of experience working in International Education with most of my experience in teaching English as a Second Language to pre-schoolers, children, teens, and adults.

I am from Clinton, MS and graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, MS in 2001. I went to Mississippi College in Clinton, MS for my undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a minor in International Business. I also received two Masters from Mississippi College: a Master's of Science in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Master's of Art in Teaching in Education.  I received my Master's of Business Administration with an emphasis in Global Management from The University of Women in Columbus, MS. I am certified to teach ESL K-12 and English, Business, & International Business 7-12.

I am the youngest of 5 children. I live in north Jackson. I have two boys, Dorian, a Senior at Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, MS, and Julian, a Sophmore at Friends University in Wichitia, KS. We have three dogs: Queen, Zar, & Kuro. I enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
