Hello to all! I am excited about the opportunity to teach your child this year, whether it be ELA or Mississippi Studies.

This is my sixth year at GMS and I'm excited to see what the 2022-23 school year brings. If you have any questions at all, or any information that will help me support your student, please don't hesitate to email me at mstuart@madison-schools.com

Expectations:

Nearly everything we do for my class will be done in class on Canvas, paper, or in-person. The easiest place to see what we are working on in class is on Canvas. All work is done through the modules page and divided by unit with dated assignments.

Students in my classes will not have homework with one caveat. Should they miss a day or not complete the work in class, they are expected to complete it in a timely fashion. I'm happy to be flexible and work with students and parents to accommodate the challenges life throws at us, but prior notice for any trips or prolonged absences will make both of our lives easier.

I understand life comes at us fast, so please be flexible with me and I'll be flexible to help meet your child's needs. I will post grades weekly and will try my best to provide feedback.
