Hello, students and parents, my name is Coach Tameika Brown. This is my 5th year at Madison Central and my 20th year teaching. I will be teaching physical education I am also the head girls’ basketball coach. I am excited to start the 2021-2022 school year. I have been teaching in the Madison County School district for 15 years. I have previously taught several courses which include, Strategies for Success, Business Fundamentals, Personal Finance and STEM. I am a proud graduate of Jackson State University #TheeILove. I graduated from JSU with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. I have a Masters of Teaching Arts from Mississippi College, and I also have my Specialist in Educational Leadership from Oakland University. 

I have been married for 24 years. My husband and I have two sons, David and Devon Brown. David is a junior at MSU and is a manager/practice player for the women's program. Devon is about to join the Air Force. 

I look forward to an awesome school year and basketball season. #gojags
