    Welcome Message

Welcome to Madison Middle School. I'm very excited about the upcoming new year.

    About the Teacher

This is my 4th year at Madison Middle School but this will be my 15th year teaching Math. I taught 11 years in Tupelo, MS.
    I have 4 children (1 boy and 3 girls),  and 7 grandchildren, 2 boys and 5 girls.

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with my B.S. in Elementary Education with an add-on for 7-12 Math and 7-12 Social Studies.  I received my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with a minor in math from Concordia University.

My wife teaches at Germantown High School.

It is a privliege to be your child's math teacher this year.  Thank you for trusting me with your child and his/her math instruction.  I love mathematics and having the opportunity to share that and the importance of it.  I truly believe that "Hard work always pays off"!  I hope your child will leave my room in the spring with a deeper appreciation for the importance of math in their lives and enter 8th grade with great confidence in their mathematics abilities.

I'm looking forward to a great year!  Go JAGS!!
