Welcome Message

Hello there, and welcome to our fifth grade family! My name is  Maniline Dino-Chano and I'm so excited to be your ESL teacher this year. We are going to have a fantastic year of fun-filled learning. In our classroom, we will truly become a family. I cannot wait to help you grow and succeed. It's going to be a blast!

About the Teacher

I was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines. I graduated and gained my Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Elementary Education from Cebu Normal University in 2010. From there, I went to University of the Visayas where I received my Master's Degree in Pre-Elementary Education in 2012. I am also currently an ESL Certified. This year marks my 11th year in education. I have gained my professional experiences from the Philippines, Singapore and the United States. I have taught prek, kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grade. This is my 4th year at Highland Elementary. 

I currently reside in Madison with my husband Richard, my 16 year old Matthew, and 4 year old Richard Emanuel. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places with the people I love. My love for travel has taken me to many destinations around the world, like around my hometown The Philippines as well as Hongkong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, The Bahamas, Canada, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and The United States of America.
