About the Teacher
My name is Christie Cook. I am originally from Tupelo, MS. I taught in the Tupelo Public School District for 16 years and in the Lee County School District for 5 years. This will be my 5th year as a Germantown Maverick. I received my bachelor's degree from Blue Mountain College and my master's degree from the University of New England. I have two older stepchildren, Robbie, and Krys, which has given me 7 grandchildren. I have two daughters of my own, Lynsey (20) and Amanda (18). I have a new grandbaby that was born August 28, 2020 named Aubrey Faye.
Lynsey and Amanda graduated from Germantown High. I have four dogs Oreo, Bella, DJ, Boo. I love sports especially softball. I'm a former slow/fastpitch softball coach from Shannon High School and Tupelo High School.
