Mannsdale Elementary

 Welcome to Second Grade!

I am Karla Mitchener. I am from Tupelo, where I graduated from Tupelo High School. I got my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University, however I am also certified to teach K-12 in the English and Social Studies departments.  This is my twenty-second year teaching.  This will be my eighth year year at Mannsdale Elementary School.I have taught kindergarten, first and fourth grades.  This will my first year teaching second year grade. I am so excited to start this new year with new friends in a new grade! Its going to be a lot of firsts and I can't wait to get the year started.
