Welcome to fourth grade at Mannsdale Upper Elementary. My name is Jenny Lowe and I will be teaching math, science, and social studies. This is my second year at MUES.
I am from Canton, MS and graduated from Canton Academy. I went to college at Delta State University and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I completed a Master's Degree in Special Education from Jackson State University in 2007. Since then, I have taught at UMMC for 2 years in an autistic classroom. I then went on to Gary Road Elementary for a year teaching special education inclusion/resource. From there, I went to Germantown Middle School and continued teaching inclusion/resource. After 7 years of teaching special education, I knew it was time to see what else was out there. I then went on to teach fourth grade at Madison Crossing Elementary for four years. I love fourth grade and have enjoyed being a part of the MUES 4th grade team!
I have been married to my husband, Daniel, for 7 years. We have two daughters: Sadie who is 4 and Kelsie who is 2. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, spending time with my family, and cheering on the Rebels!! Hotty Toddy
I can't wait to meet all my students and I know this is going to be a great year for everyone.
It's a GREAT day to be a Maverick...especially at MANNSDALE UPPER!!
