About the Teacher

My name is Sharon Stinson. My family and I are long-time residents of Madison. My dad is a 1970 graduate of Rosa Scott, and my sister (C/O 1996) and I (C/O 2001) are both graduates of Madison Central High School. I am proud to work for the same school district that laid my educational foundation. I received my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees from Mississippi State University. I also have an Education Specialist degree in Psychometry from Thee Jackson State University. I have two daughters. Tori is a junior at Madison Central High School, and Skylar is a fifth grader at Madison Station Elementary. My wonderful husband and I have been married for seventeen years. I love being a teacher! I aim to make each student's high school career an optimistic and motivational experience.
