Mrs. Yancy Beth Boothe
A186
My name is Yancy Beth Boothe, and I am looking forward to a wonderful year! I will be teaching Economics, U.S. Government, and U.S. History this year. The 2023-2024 school year will be my seventeeth year teaching and my eighth-year teaching at Madison Central.
I grew up in Madison County Schools, and I am proud to be a Jaguar! I graduated from Madison Central High School in 2003 and received a Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University in 2007. In 2009, I graduated from Mississippi College where I earned my Master's degree in elementary education.
I am highly qualified, and I am certified to teach kindergarten through 6th grade and 7th through 12th grade social studies, economics, and English. I previously taught 7th grade world history for 9 years at Clinton Junior High School.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and vacationing at my favorite place, Disney World!
