    About Mrs. Hendricks

I grew up in West, Mississippi. I graduated high school from Winona Christian School in 2011.  From there, I attended the University of Mississippi for one year and then transferred to Mississippi College.  In December of 2015, I graduated from MC with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. While at MC, I was a member and president of Nenamoosha Social Tribe. I love and value my time at MC. I believe that I was able to gain a firm foundation in education at MC. In my last semester, I was placed as a student teacher at MAUE under the wonderful Jamie Lanford. It definitely did not take long for me to want to become part of the MAUE family! I am looking forward to my 8th year at MAUE. I am so thankful and humbled to be teaching at MAUE. Go Jags!

I am married to my husband Jamie Hendricks. We have a precious 5 year old big boy, Fitz, and our sweet baby boy, Hayes, who is two years old! We enjoy living in Gluckstadt and attending Broadmoor Baptist Church. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and baking, and MSU sports! I enjoy podcasts, Disney music, & 90's Country!! My favorite tv show is Gilmore Girls. We've starting finding things to enjoy with Fitz & we have loved watching Lego Masters with him! I enjoy collecting Happy Everything attachments and McCarty or Peter's Pottery. When we have free time, we enjoy going to Starkville to ballgames and on a good adventure!

My teaching philosophy is believing that all students who enter my room are valuable and important! All of my students are capable of learning while in my classroom, no matter their learning styles or preference. I believe that there is excitement in learning and that we can all learn something in the classroom. I believe in creating an environment where students feel safe, capable, and free to share their ideas. I want all of my students to meet their greatest potential. I am here for your student & you. I want your child to feel comfortable coming to me with any questions or concerns. My goal EVERY DAY is to make sure that your child is LOVED & IMPORTANT!!!
