   I am a graduate of Ridgeland High School.  After high school, I attended and graduated from The University of Mississippi with a degree in Journalism with minors in English Literature and African American Studies.  After graduation, I moved to Austin, TX and worked in information technology sales.  I was so unhappy, and kept dreaming about becoming a teacher.  I finally quit, moved back home to Ridgeland and earned my teaching license. I have a master's degree in educational leadership from LSU Shreveport.

  This is my fourth year at RHS, but my eighth year teaching.
