Welcome to 5th grade at Camden Elementary School!  I am thrilled to be teaching such a wonderful group of students.  I am eager to build on the skills students learned in 4th grade, and I look forward to helping the students grow in proficiency in reading. I consider myself fortunate to be part of such a caring and dedicated faculty of educators at CES.

 

I am a graduate of Pearl High School and the University of Mississippi with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education.  I have taught school for over 25 years in many different settings and grade levels.  Madison, Mississippi is my home.  I love to garden, read, exercise, and work on art projects in my spare time.  I am the proud mother of one daughter.

 

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you have this year.  I am here to help your child succeed. Also, please check your child's homework folder each night for daily homework assignments, weekly test information, and important notes from school. I look forward to a great year in 5th grade!
